Dial-up

Can someone tell me how to make it so my Dial-up
conection does not keep poping up by it's self. It does
this all the time even when the computer sits idel.

Real sorry but I never used dial up in a while (I am

lucky to live in a high speed area). What is happening
is that you need to fish around your dial up properties
and uncheck redial if disconnected or uncheck
automatically dial out. Sorry I cannot be more specific.
