Dial up DNS Errors

I connect via dial up to my ISP. I open IE 6.1 and it
errors out with DNS errors. What can I do to fix this?
WHy is it erroring out?

Can you copy and paste your ipconfig /all from dos, and can you also show
what happens when you run nslookup from dos?
