Dial Up Diconnects - No VIRUS - Checked.

Connects to my ISP, works for 2 mins, then stops receiving
packets and connection drops. Nothing in Event Viewer.
Nothing wrong with ISP as use my laptop to connect to same
number with identical settings and it works fine. Any
ideas ?? Is it Winsock or ?? Also in XP, cannot uninstall
Dial Up networking, so that you can reinstall a fresh
TCP/IP stack. So, I'm kind of stumped...
..

Also checked for the blaster virus etc.. nothing...
 
You might want to try re-installing the drivers to the
modem. Sometimes doing that, helps.
