Thank you for this important information. This is another one for you:

so what help are you offering? please dont offer snipy comments. im looking
for the proper hotfix.

what part of my response dont you comprehend? ive been trying to fix this
for a while now, and im trying locate the proper hotfix. seriously if you
have no positive input to share dont bother to comment.

I think basically what he is saying is you might want to post some usefull
information so someone can help you.

If I posted .. Windows isnt working please help .. of course what is anyone
going to be able to do ... there could be a million and one reasons ... just
saying a tool doesn't work without giving any information as to what it is
doing or not doing or the error you are recieving .. how do you expect
someone to help.

well i figured posting in this forum would declare my os. i use e7 and when
a page fails to load im presented with diagnose connection problems, however
when selected, i get an error report rather than the diagnostic tool running.
ive got screen shots. microsoft sent me a hotfix dl but it failed to
install.

Then you need to say so. People aren't mindreaders.

You were given excellent advice; the fact that you choose to ignore it is
your problem, no one elses.

what am i ignoring? ive already pursued the advice given with no resolve,
hence the continued post. im just here for a solution, nothing else. ive
offered screen shots no ones requested a view, thats about as specific as i
be.

ive offered screenshots, no one asked for them. thats as specific as it
gets. and also as per the rules say. dont need to be a mindreader, just
need to read all the messages.
