Device Manager - PCI Input Device has ! next to it

In device manager under Sound, video and game controllers

When I installed my Sound Blaster Live sound card the is
an entry for a PCI Input Device with a exclamation mark
next to it.

PCI Slot 4 (PCI bus 0, device 9, function 1)

DEVICE STATUS SAYS:
The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall
Driver.

I have not found any driver from creative that clears
this. It was not there under Win98se.

I haven't found anything that is not working in reguards
to the Sound card but I don't like seeing misconfigured
hardware in the Device Manager.

Any thoughts or help is appreciated.

There is a driver set AND a patch for SB_Live s/c's [under XP] on the
Creative web site. Recommend you uninstall s/c both physically and in
DevMgr first. Re-insert card and reboot...then run Creative installation
utility and patch.
