I am having a problem with the computer shouting off.
The error check system says that it is a device drive
issue. I tried to do a system restore but it is not
working. It seems like other people are having this
issue as well. Can anyone help? I am running windows xp.

Hi, Bear. What this means is that one of your device drivers (software
that tells the operating system - Windows XP - what to do with the
hardware) has something wrong with it. Now we need to narrow it down to
which device. Did you change anything recently? I would start with the
video drivers. You will need to go to the video card mftr.'s website
and download the latest drivers and install them. If this is hard or
confusing - and it is no shame to admit if it is - then take your
computer to a good local repair shop (not a BestBuy or CompUSA type of
store). After all, I take my car to the mechanic without hesitation!
Anyway, if you do want to fix this yourself and need more help, then
please repost and include information about your system specs.

Cheers,

Malke
