Device Driver not working

Printer crashed last week, everything back to normal except the device driver
... can't load printer- HP series 1510 ( was working great until crash ) pop
up states -- windows cannot load device driver for this hardware -- its
corrupt or missing ( code 39 ) I have uninstalled it , reinstalled it.. spoke
to HP support .. please help.. I am a home school mom who really needs her
printer!! Thanks in advance

Boot into Safe Mode, remove/delete and and all printers you find, reboot and
Windows will re-detect and load the drivers.

Sorry I booted into "safe mode" and it still does not work.. I removed all
printer stuff and all the USB controller has now is still the yellow
exclamation mark.. what do I do now??????
