Determining IP Addresses from Hostname

I've two LAN cards on XP Pro. Both are configured with static IP addresses.

When I ping on the hostname, one of the IP address is returned.
How can I return the other IP address instead? If not, why?

Bridge the two NICs should do it but setup without a bridge wont allow it.
Your network is obviously connected to ONE NIC and the other is either not
used or part of another network. Thus, the two NICs are independent when not
bridged.

Is there a GUI tool that I could use to bridge the two network? If not, any
alternative?

In the Network Connections Folder, click Advanced | Advanced Settings.
Under "Connections:", click the one whose IP address you want to see,
click the up arrow to move it to the top of the list, and click OK.
