I tried to create an icon on my desktop for a web page and now there is a
section of the web page on my desktop that I cannot get rid of. It is not
an icon. It is a small square section of the web page. It will not
delete when I right click it and I can't move it anywhere. How can I get
rid of this? I tried going to Windows Explorer - Desktop but it doesn't
show up on that screen. Can anyone help? It's blocking the view of two
of my other icons. Thanks.

How did you try to create the icon for a web page. The correct way is to go
to "file/send/shortcut to desktop". Any other way is likely to cause
problems. At this point, follow the steps that you know you did and undo the
action! If you want more help, give more details!

Right click the Desktop, select Properties, Desktop, Customize Desktop, Web tab and uncheck the item there.
