CHANGING ICONS FOR WEB PAGES

How do you change the icon for web page shortcut on the desktop? I can
change the icon from the properties box but the change will not
change on the desktop. Internet explorer icon remains.

You can try this:
Copy paste your saved webpage and all its files in a temporary location
somewhere on c:\ or whatever location you wish

Create a shortcut of this webspage on the desktop
(Right click on the desktop > New > Shortcut. Then point to the location
where the webpage resides)
When this shortcut is created, right-click it and then you can change the
icon of this shortcut.

When you right click on the Desktop icon, doesn't the window that pops up
have the option to "Change icon" on it?
