Copied Microsoft Download Web Page into Desktop Picture

While trying to make a Desktop short cut to MS Download page I paste the Web
page itself into the Desktop. It must be corrupted. Thier is no Window frame
so it wont close. I have search for a http or shortcut but cant find
anything. When I reboot it remains as part of the desktop. I can stretch its
size. The links on the web page still work. Any suggestions as to how I might
be able to get rid of this will be most appreciated.
Thanks,
Kevin

See if this helps.

Go to Control Panel and double click Display.
In Display Properties, click on the Desktop tab.
On the Desktop page, click on the Customize Desktop button.
In Desktop Items, click on the Web tab.
On the Web page, check in the Web pages block for a reference to the MS
Download site.
If it's there, click on it to highlight it and hit the Remove button.
Click OK twice to close Display Properties.

Good luck
