I've noticed a habit i have, of closing down windows that i actually need
open on the desktop.
It would have been nice to have an undo function on the desktop that
restores previous windows.

Either that,or i'll have to pay more attention to what i'm doing!

I think the best thing to do is to concentrate on what you are doing or
simply open back the window you were working in. The same effort you would
take to undo it, you could of just easily opened it back.

And it would be nice to have a chance to undo everything that you do in
life - like the time, when I was 16, that I shot my foot with an arrow.

You just learn not to do certain things. It's called behavior modification.

How the hell do you do that. It's seems rather difficult to hold a drawn
bow in a position that would end up piercing your foot.

Yes, since 5th grade, not one time have I played with gasoline, an empty
beer ball and matches.

I was shooting at a rattler that was at my feet. Now I would just jump I
guess.

Hi Dave,

How about just using the Windows key (Start on some keyboards) and D.
That minimizes everything and then returns everything.
