Desktop

[A frustrated mom]

My daughter has her own desktop file and just within the
last few days has discovered anything she downloads goes
to the desktop, cannot be moved. When trying to move the
files into her "own" folder they seem stuck.(or any other
folder for that matter) Any suggestions?

Can she Copy to another folder ?
(instead of using Move)

It is it on the desktop that things can't be moved. I
probably didn't explain it correctly. She says she can't
drag and drop items into her files. The items will drag
but won't drop? Virus scans done but all clear there. Any
ideas? Thank you.

Hmmmm,
In Windows Explorer, can she right click the download and use Send to ?
It could be her Temp folder need cleaning out.
Have her do a disk clean to see if it helps.
