Hello Newsgroup ....

I would like to use my desktop speakers and my USB headset (head phones + microphone) at the same time

My desktop speakers are set as the default sound scheme
When I want to change to head phones, I have to go through the control panel in order to change the sound scheme

What I would like to do instead is
- lowering the desktop speaker volum
- simply putting on my head se
and that's it

Can somebody give me a hint please

My kids had exactly the same problem. I bought them a very handy little
device at CompUSA which is a speaker/headphones switcher. The one I
bought is from Plantronics, and I believe it was around $20 - quite
inexpensive. It is small and has a switch on it that allows you to
change from speakers to headphones very easily.

I'm sorry that didn't work for you. Maybe there is another brand that
might.

Good luck,
