How to have simultaneous sound output on usb headset and analog speakers?

Subject says it all. On XP I would like to be able to switch between
USB headset and analog speakers on the fly, without having to unplug
anything and restart applications. If I could have sound coming out all
the time through both, then I could just mute the speaker when using
the headset, and just put the headset down and unmute/up the volume on
the speaker when using the speaker.

Does anyone know if this is possible? And is so: how?

Thanks.

You have to pick ONE default sound output. Replace the USB phones with
analog headset and a y-splitter connected to the speakers.

I also would like to do that. Have you come up with a solution?
I have figured out how to use the speakers as a ring tone for Skype and
the USB headset for talking.

Your lucky
I can't even use my Logitech usb headset anymore.
Windows "lost" wdma_usb.sys and even when it's put back then no usb audio.
Windows just sees Logitech USB headset and will not let usb audio work
