Desktop shortcuts not working

Hi, when I double left click on any desktop shortcuts other than IE, OE or
MSN, the Full Print menu appears every time.

Right clicking on shortcuts brings the pop up print options

Had just removed Avant Browser from pc before this all started to happen.

Am running XP home with SP2 on a Medion Connect XL.

You will find that this common problem (sometimes it's print, sometimes it's
search) can be easily fixed by a download from www.dougknox.com under File
Association Fixes.

Assuming they are .URL (Internet Shortcuts) files:

Double-clicking Internet Shortcuts launches the Print dialog rather than
opening the webpage:
http://windowsxp.mvps.org/internetshortcut.htm

Go to Start/Run and type in:

regsvr32 /i shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 /i shell32
