desktop problem

My daughter used my computer to play a DVD and now my
desktop has changed. My desktop is too long for my
monitor. It scrolls up, down and left, right. How can I
restore the size of my desktop so I don't have this
scrolling effect. I can take my mouse and touch the edge
of my desktop and it would scroll my screen to the right
until my icons disappear. Than I touch my screen to the
left and my screen scrolls to the left and I see my icons
again.

Does anyone know what I need to reset my desktop so I
can't do this scrolling thing?

dvd program probably changed settings automatically.

start
control panel
display
settings tab
screen resolution
change to different settings to get right results.
then...............
go to themes tab and pick save as button and save to file.
example: mydesktop.theme
keep this file where it creates and use it when daughter
changes the setting. just goto this file and pick on it
to change back to your setting.
