My daughter used my computer to watch a DVD and now my
desktop is not the same. Usually on a desktop you can
take your mouse and touch the top and the side of your
desktop and that's were the mouse stays. My problem is
when I take my mouse to the end of the desktop it scrolls
so my icons are no longer visible. It appears that my
desktop is too long and too wide. I can scroll downward
also. How can I stop this from happening?

Thanks,

Renee

Renee, she may have changed the resolution of your monitor. You can check
this:

Start
Control Panel
(category?)
Display
Settings tab
Advanced button
General tab
Does the "DPI setting" say "Normal size (96DPI)"

If it does, then she was probably fiddling with the monitor itself.
In that case, use the buttons on the front of the monitor to adjust the
width of the display.
