Desktop icons move upon Startup

Just recently I've noticed my icons resetting themselves
to the left side of screen, vertically. I've always had
my icons displays at the top horizontally. Even if I
move the icons to the top and shut down, they will be
displayed vertically at startup. It hasn't always done
this. Please help.

Right Click on the desktop, select Arrange Icons by..
and make sure that auto arrange is not turned on.

Set them as wanted and then run this edit:

Save Settings on Exit (Line 54)

To use the Regedit: Save the REG File to your hard disk. Double click it
and answer yes to the import prompt. REG files can be viewed in Notepad by
right clicking on the file and selecting Edit.
