On a WinXP-pro PC, I have a Wall Street Journal icon (really it's a web
favorites shortcut) that goes straight to the front page of WSJ.
For some reason, when I created it (right click > create shortcut), the icon
had the WSJ logo, but the logo later dropped out and the generic blue
Internet Explorer "e" replaced it.
I've re-created it several times...and it keeps dropping out. Other site's
icons do the same thing...or sometimes they don't even start with a logo,
but rather just the generic "e".
Is that fixable? What's causing it? Is it something to do with clearning
out temp files and doing other routine cleanups every few weeks?
Thanks
