Desktop icon arranger

I'm looking for an app for my wife... She likes to keep her icons
arranged alphabetically across the bottom of the screen horizontally.
I've seen her spend hours playing with her icons to get this effect.
But any time she changes icons she has to rearrange the icons. Is there
an application out there that will keep your desktop icons
auto-arranged horizontally or vertically along a set point, such as
across the bottom of the desktop just above the taskbar or perhaps even
X pixels from the bottom/top/left/right of the screen?

Iconlock 1.1. Free. Works in XP.

The icons on my desktop keep rearranging themselves. I installed Icon
Restore, which sets up LAYOUT.DLL.

Now, all I have to do is right-click on a container object (e.g., file
folder, but not a link to a file folder) on my desktop. In the
pull-down menu, there are two entries: "Restore Desktop Icon Layout" and
"Save Desktop Icon Layout". The latter saves the current icon
arrangement. The latter restores that arrangement when the icons move.

Just do a Google search on "Icon Restore". Note that installing
LAYOUT.DLL is not enough. You also need the registry changes that put
the entries into the context pull-down menu. The Icon Restore package
does both.

Also, turn off Auto Arrange and Lock Web Items on Desktop.
