desktop background

For some reason, the image i use for my desktop's background keeps
disappearing. It will be okay for days and then i'll be gone to lunch and
when i come back it has disappeared and i have to go and reset the properties
tab to get it back. Is there some reason it might be doing this? It's on the
office network, windows xp....

Joker in the office ; resetting it ?

only the IT person has access. Could he be doing it remotely? Would it happen
if he accesses my computer?

You say you reset it thru the properties tab , somebody else can do it
the same way .
