This is nothing to do with Windows - this is an issue with your printer
driver. HP has decided to discontinue support for this model - and the only
driver available is the one native to XP. If you wish to restore duplex
printing, you'll have to use a third-party applet such as the one available
here www.fineprint.com. This is *NOT* freeware and will print an
'unregistered' watermark on every page until you register ($50 for a single
user licence).
Alternatively, you could buy a printer that's supported by its manufacturer
under XP.
