Two Sided Printing Problem

DWP

Have used an HP Deskjet 722 successfully for years under
Win98. Especially value the environmentally friendly 2-
sided printing feature.

Recently installed WinXP Home. Printer no longer provides
option of 2-sided printing. A search of HP knowledge base
says that WinXP does not support 2-sided printing for HP
700 series deskjet printers. Is there a patch for WinXP
or a workaround that will restore this functionality?

Any thoughts or help will be much appreciated.

Confused and frustrated.

Ever hear the term "planned obsolesence"? You can use your old printer
with WinXP and get the features back by buying "FinePrint" 3rd party
software: http://www.fineprint.com/products/fineprint/
Unfortunately, it's $50.

I had the same problem with my HP890, and as was already suggested to
you, I acquired and installed FinePrint which restored the 2 sided
printing and more.
