loss of 2-sided printing on HP Deskjet 722C using XP.

Is there a fix for 2-sided printing with an HP Deskjet
722C using MS XP professional? I lost the ability to save
paper by printing on both sides using the driver defined
print properties feature. Printer works fine with Win98.

Hello,
This feature does not seem to be supported in the Windows XP version of the
printer driver. However, some applications (like Microsoft Word) will
support this feature. Look for an option called "manual duplex" when you
choose File->Print.
Regards,

HP decided not to write updated drivers for this very discontinued model.
Microsoft wrote drivers so that you can still print, but do not have the
full capabilities you were used to in Windows98.

Use the software available from www.fineprint.com and you will regain the
ability to banner and duplex print.
