We are deploying Office 2003 and on several computers (computers we tested
deploying through GPOs), the users are not able to start Outlook after the
installation completes. When I try to start Outlook, I get the error about a
transform file missing.
When I go to Add/remove programs, Outlook 2003 is a separate line item, but
when I try to remove it, I get the error "The configuration data for this
product is corrupt."
When other users start Outlook on these machines, Outlook runs just fine,
but when we are using an account that was used for testing the GPO
deployment, Outlook will not start.
Is there any way I can remove all references to the GPO-applied installation
of Outlook from the registry?
