Demote DCs

Hi, I have 2 servers, I lost my Domain Controller, on the
other one aditional domain controller I will like to run
the dcpromo to demote the server and make a new domain
but i got the error that a domain controller can not be
found. Is there anyway to make that without uninstalling
the server.

If the domain cannot be found then you probably have a DNS configuration
problem or the SRV records are missing. Verify that the server that you are
demoting is pointing to a DNS server that is authoritative for your AD zone.
Verify that the DNS server(s) have the SRV, host and guid records for all of
the DCs in your domain.

use the /force switch or something like this =)
