delivered to unread mail folder instead of Inbox

Mail is delivered to unread mail folder instead of Inbox, how do I get it to
go directly to the inbox?

The Unread Mail folder is a virtual folder. a search folder. Mail doesn't
get delivered to the Unread Mail folder. If you add the column "In Folder"
to the Unread Mail Folder view, you will see the actual folder the message
is in...

And the In Folder column is there by default, so shouldn't need to be added.
