Deletion of bad info in AutoComplete?

How do I edit the database AutoComplete uses. It has some old and other
incorrect information therein which I would like to delete. How do I edit it?

Click once on an AutoComplete entry to highlight it,
then hit your Delete key on the keyboard.

Even works some times, but not always.
