Autocomplete

I'm baffled. How to make autocomplete work.
I get a dropdown list on my old computer with Win95. But this WinXP won't
work.
Three years without autocomplete. Tried everything I can think of.
I've clicked Tools, Content, Autocomplete at least 800 times the last three
years.
Doesn't WinXP have autocomplete? I was told it does, or was I lied to.

Yes it does. Just as an idea because I can't really think why your
shouldn't, have you tried clearing all you history then try it again.
