deleting the Internet Explorer off System (Children in House)

Hello,

I'm attempting to delete the Internet Explorer off my
system so Children in the house can't use it (and visit
the wrong sites) instead of AOL which we use as our
default browser. I Have parental controls set up on AOL
currently so I can monitor their Internet activities.
I'm afraid if I delete the Internet Explorer off the
desktop, Computer saavy children could merely go into
Windows Explorer and launch Internet Explorer file(s)
from there. I'm also afraid if I delete Internet Explorer
from the Windows explorer, I may also delete other files
necessary to run windows.
If I can't delete Internet Explorer altogether, is there
a way I could put a password on it in order to prevent
someone from accessing it?

Thanks for your help,
Dave M.

Have you tried telling the children that they can't use Internet Explorer?
Try that first.

How to Configure Internet Explorer 5.x to Block Access to All But Approved
Internet Sites
The following describes how to setup Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x so that
no sites can be viewed, except those that are explicitly allowed by an
Administrator. This is done through the Content Advisor system within
Internet Explorer itself.
