Deleting Outlook Rules

I am trying to delete rules in Outlook 2003. I have tried Mail-Tools-rules
and alerts and tried to delete them but it didnt work.

Can you please guide me thru this?

Did you highlight each rule and then press delete?

How did you try to delete them? What happened when you tried? "Didn't
work" is not very descriptive. If you want to remove them all, start
Outlook with the /cleanrules switch. With Outlook closed, click Start>Run
and enter

"%ProgramFiles"\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /cleanrules

in the Open line. Note the quotes and spaces.
