deleting mail

I've solved the problem of deleting unwanted messages in windows vista
mail - just highlight the ones you want to delete and click on 'move to
folder' and send them to the 'deleted items' folder in your local folders -
they seem to be able to go there, but not to the 'deleted items' in your
IMAP folders. Then you can click on edit and 'empty contents of this
folder'

Click on the email to highlight it then use the delete button on the
keyboard.

or,

Click on the email to highlight it, then Edit menu - Delete.



If you want to delete several emails together either:

Click on the first on, hold down Shift key and click on the last. The whole
batch will be highlighted then delete as above.

or if the emails are not in a block:

Hold down the Control key while clicking any emails you want to delete. This
time the selected ones will be highlighted, then delete as above.
