Deleting History

I'm trying to find out how to delete my history. When I
delete it, it deletes it from the address bar but when I
start typing in an address it shows all of my history.
First time it did this was yesterday, and I can't seem to
get it to stop. If anyone knows how to help please email
or reply.. thanks.

when your in your browser go to tools then options. click
on the content tab. then click autocomplete and uncheck
everythin you see and then click clear forms...then hit ok
and close your browser....then all your past web addresses
will not show up when you enter the first few letters.
you may need to clear your history from the general tab
after you uncheck autocomplete.
