i'm trying to delete 500 megabytes of photos that won't view properly from my
computer cause it's a waste of space, when i try to delete them it tells me
that access is denied, all the photos are "read only" and "ready for
archiving" neither of these two properties will it let me change, the files
are from my user account, i suspect they won't view properly because of the
"ready for archiving" but i'm not sure how to fix it so i can delete them or
at least use them.... whenever i try to view them it just comes up with
nothing....

i've tried cutting and pasting them to a cd, deleting them using delete and
shift+delete, deleting them from command prompt.... any help anyone could
offer would be fantastic, my user account is an administrator too... so thats
not the problem... *sigh

start your pc in Safe Mode.
Start>run>msconfig

Also you can do it in dos mode, restart hit F8 (most common) and use del
command or deltree command
