Deleting emails without sending to Deleted Items in 2007

I have converted to 2007. I would like to be able to delete a lot of emails,
particularly junk emails, without having them go to the deleted items folder.
Is there an option somewhere that allows me to delete emails without having
the email end up in Deleted Items? Will that be applied globally only, or
can I make it specific to the Junk E-Mail folder?
