deleting cache files and cookies programmatically

Hello there
I need to automate the process of deleting the cache files and cookies,
anybody has an idea where should I be looking?

Have you tried an application called TweakUI? Just Google for it and you'll
find it. I believe it will give you the option to do what you are asking.
