Deleting selected cookies

I need to find the folder containing my cookies, as I've been advised that
some problems I am having accessing a site are probably due to cookies the
site created on previous visits which have a fault. I don't seem to be able
to find the folder - the search facility finds a folder titled cookies but
there don't seem to be any files in it.

I don't wan't to auto delete all cookies as this will wipe out a number
which I don't want to lose.

Can anyone tell me where my missing cookies have gone?!

Perhaps you found the wrong one? What was the path?
What were its attributes?

To see the files in it (under XP) you could enter in a cmd window:

cd /d %USERPROFILE%\Cookies
and
dir

Otherwise it's a special folder linked to the TIF and using using the TIF viewer
is sufficient. E.g. in IE press Alt-T,O,Alt-S,V. Turn on View Details, (Alt-V,D)
Sort by Name (Alt-V,I,Name) then scroll to Cookie: (e.g. type co then
press PageDown...)

have you enabled in Explorer options the viewing of system files and folder.
