deleting admin account

i want to delete the admin account from my computer , i have a second admin
account that i want to use so my girl can work from home . the problem is
that even though she has admin rights the under beth , the admin account says
she cant install some programs she needs for work . when i boot up in safe
mode that is the only time that i can see the original admin account , when i
login to hers in safe mode it doesnt show that account . short of
reformatting what can i do to get rid of this account . i am running xp pro

You can't delete the built-in administrator account. And you shouldn't even
if you could. When your user account gets corrupted, the built-in
administrator account is your only way into the machine. What applications
can't you install in an admin-rights account?

Try this:
Right click the install program and choose Run as.
In the popup choose Administrator.
If offered the option make sure she installs for all users.

The presence of the built in Administrator account is not the problem. You
cannot delete this account, and there are many good reasons why you
shouldn't. It's needed.
