from the run menu (click START, then RUN )
type in REGEDIT
then go to the key of
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
and then delete the urls you don't want.
Sorry but I don't know how to stop them from re occurring nor do I know
an easier way to get rid of them, maybe someone else does.
Note: the registry is a serious place of business so do not delete or edit any
other keys while you are inside regedit. In addition if you have young or
dangerous users on the machine then I would start and run notepad from
the same way, i.e. START, then RUN notepad , or some other harmless
app after exiting regedit so it will not be sitting there waiting next time
a user clicks START and RUN.
Good luck.
