Deleting a File through a Network connection

We have a 8 person office... All PC's use XP Pro. We
have a "Pseudo" server that is also running XP Pro. My
question is:

When a client deletes a file on the "pseudo" server, where
does it go?? Can I physically go to the "pseudo" server
and restore from the Recycle Bin??

PLEASE HELP!! And thanks in advance!!

No, it's basically gone forever.
When you delete a file across the network, it doesn't go into a recycle bin.

If you were to take the server offline immediately and shut it down,
that might prevent the deleted file from being over-written.

You _just_ might then be able to recover the file with undelete utilities.

Do a google search for 'XP undelete' and look through the options.
Try to find one that will run from the floppy, so as not to write any data
to the hard drive.
