Deleted Registry Key

My dad erased our registry keys to our cd writer and dvd
writer now they both are non functional Windows says
this "Windows cannot start this hardware device because
its configuration information (in the registry) is
incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"

so now i need to know wat do i do now??
PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!!!
 
Uninstall both from Device Manager then reboot the computer. XP will find
them during the reboot.
