Deleted my *.lnk file from my registry

Used a reg cleaner programme and as such have deleted .lnk file. This now
means I am unable to get to the backup in Regcleaner and also system restore
is not available. Please Help I am running MSXP HOME

Will thank you for the reply I have ended up with a notepad printout with a
load of registry language. Where do I go from here?
