#deleted message in access form

I was hoping somebody might be able to help me unravel a
problem i am having with access.
I am using access for data entry at my school, someone
inputting data has caused a series of #deleted messages
to appear in the related tables, forms, queries and
reports for a number of students.
Does anyone know what they may have done?!
And how i can repair the damage as when i try to renter
the ID number it tells me that there is a duplicate.

This only means that they have deleted it from the form and not from the database. That's why it gives you a duplicate message,it is still existing in your database.Just close Access and open it again. You can avoid users deleting data on a form by doing the following

1.CLick on "View", select "Design View
2.Right click in the form and select properties
3.Select "All" tab (Top Right Hand Side
4.Scroll down until you see "Delete" permissions and take it off

Hope this helps..
