Delete protected folders?

I used to use Norton Anti Virus but I stopped because of some interferences.
Norton put some files into quarantine because of infestation with netsky. My
current Antivirus software is Adelphia/Freedom which I like. When I run
Freedom Antivirus I am advised to remove the Norton quarantined files which
are in a folder.

I have not been able to remove this folder/files. How I can remove these
items?

Many thanks.

Peter.

It sounds like you didn't uninstall NAV before you installed Freedom. If
this is the case, you need to uninstall NAV. During the uninstall
process, NAV will ask if you want to delete quarantined files. Naturally
you will say "yes".

If you already have uninstalled NAV but didn't remove the quarantined
files during installation, go into Safe Mode and try to delete the
folder there. If you still can't, you'll need to take ownership of the
folder.
