Delete keyboard?

Hello experts:
In "Device Manager" (with view selected to "Show Hidden Devices") I noticed
a yellow exclamation mark next to "HP PS2 Keyboard (2K-3)" and a second
keyboard "HP USB Keyboard/Hub-HID Keyboard Device (r.3)". The HP PS2 Keyboard
shows the following error message: "This device is not present, not working
properly, or does not have all its drivers installed (Code 24)". Since my
keyboard seems to be working OK is it safe to delete the problematic
keyboard? I appreciate your reply.
Thanks,

Create a system restore point and remove these entries. See also:

Hello Detlev:
Thank you for the quick reply. However, the web address you provided shows
no link. Could it have been removed by MS?
Thanks again,

No problem here. Copy that link and paste it into the browser's
address bar.

Hello Detlev and Bob I:
Thank you both for your reply. You are correct. I tried the link again and
it worked. However, (here we go again) when I tried to delete this keyboard
(and I even tried it in "Safe" mode) it acts like a bad penny: It Keeps
Comming Back!! I tried various ways to install and reinstall and update the
drivers, but to no avail... Code 24 keeps coming back. So here is my final
question on this matter: "Is there any way to delete this keyboard?" I really
appreciate the attention that both of you have given me.
Thanks,

The next step is to contact the HP tech support. This is always re-
commended since they usually know their bugs and the remedy. Also,
reporting problems allows for improving their products.
