. Unfortuately I have no solution, only the same
problem. A right click brings up the hour glass which
induces some kind of endless loop and freezes all
folders, listed files and functions until C.A.D. brings
up End Task. Right click works okay on individual,
opened files (Word, etc.). Also works on lower right
screen icons (Norton, Zone Alarm, etc.). Does not work on
Main Screen icons (it freezes them). XP says the
failure is a "Catagory (101)" whatever that is. I can't
plum the MS databank to figure out what a Catagory (101)
failure is. I've got a guru involved who, with a little
luck, will have some answers tomorrow before 12:00 am
EST. If we're lucky, I'll send you the results. If you
get lucky, please forward the e-mail to me. Thanks, ggs
