delete block yes/no

I am a long time user of Word and just upgraged to Word
2002. Now when I want to delete a block of text it asks me
if I want to delete yes/no. I don't want this feature on
and can not find where to turn it off.

Unless it's changed since W2000, it's Tools > Options > Compatability.
Currently Word thinks you're a WordPerfect user.

Tools>Options>General and uncheck the two WordPerfect features.
