How do I stop the "Delete Block? (No) Yes" prompt?

I find this prompt extremely annoying and time-wasting.
All I want to do is to be able to delete text I've blocked WITHOUT BEING
ASKED IF I WANT TO DELETE IT!
If I didn't want to delete the text I selected:
1) I wouldn't have selected it and hit "Delete" in the first place, or
2) I could always click Undo.
Is there any way to rid myself of this annoyance?

Go to Tools > Options > General and uncheck both boxes that mention
WordPerfect.
