Delays in Email reaching users Email accounts

Hi,

I am not sure whether this is an OUTLOOK problem or an ACCESS problem.

Basically, I used Access wizard to produce a button in which it takes the
user to the email interface in Outlook (it contains information from the
database). But once we press "Send" it can take up to 3 days to be received.
Whereas using Outlook without going through Access, the emails are received
instantly.

Does anyone know why this is happening and a possible solution?!

Thanks in advance
Cowji

My knee-jerk reaction would be to re-check the setup options between
Access and Outlook. I'd guess that something is missing which is sending
your email provider into a frenzy. If the emails eventually get to their
receipients, then you're probably throwing a curve either to your ISP or
messing up communications through your LAN causing them to loop around the
world a bunch of times before getting settled out. You might also want to
talk to IT (presuming that you're not IT) for compatibility issues. Also,
investigate how delivery priorities are set.
